1940’s Made mock airplane decoys, military medals, aircraft forgings and other items for the US Military
1950’s Developed “integral aluminum stud” for automotive emblems (extruded stud from AL sheets)
1960’s Invented the urethane domed emblem and patented world wide
1970’s Patented a process and equipment to coat one liter glass bottles for safety
1980’s Established a JV factory in England and sold The D. L. Auld Company to 3M
1990’s Started a new family company by the name of The Auld Company continuing the emblem tradition
2000’s Established relationship with Motor Electric Manufacturing
2009 Dan Auld sold emblem, patent and certain assets of The Auld Company to Auld Technologies and held an interest in this entity
2014 Dan Auld sells interest in Auld Technologies and focuses on Auld Corporation
